IHA’s Annual Health Literacy Conference has been providing operational solutions to improve health literacy since 2002, drawing health literacy professionals—speakers and attendees—from all over the world. This premier event offers something for everyone in the field of health and human services. Whether you work directly with the public or behind the scenes, in patient education, policy, or in research, at a small non-profit or a large corporation – there is something here for you and your professional development.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to adapt, like so many others, to an online forum. And, in light of this, and current events dominating and driving society’s conversations, we decided to create a new theme to frame our discussions: “Health Equity and Disparities in the Time of COVID-19.” We will share stories, insights, and encourage conversations to promote a greater understanding of the pandemic's disproportionate effect on select populations. Most importantly, we will identify solutions to consider as we work to rebuild a more equitable society.

The conversations start here. They will continue after the conference. Please join us, now and after.
